THE SHOPPING PROCESS
As you browse through our store and find items you would like to purchase, you add them to
your virtual shopping cart. This virtual shopping cart is updated as you add/remove
items from your cart while you shop.
Data Security and Encryption at
PayPal
The security of your information, transactions, and money is the core of our business and
our top priority at PayPal. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential
information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer
protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially
available). Before you even register or log in to their site, their server checks that
you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your information reaches them, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both
physically and electronically. Their servers sit behind an electronic firewall and
are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only
to authorized computers.
If you pay via
PayPal, just sign in and complete the transaction. If you have never paid through
PayPal, just click on the button that says "click here" and follow the
instructions to complete the transaction. You will be asked to enter your credit card
information, billing address, e-mail address, and then will be asked to create a PayPal
password. This password will enable you to use PayPal to pay any vendor that accepts
it. PayPal does not charge you for making a payment.
PAYMENT BY CASHIERS
CHECK OR PERSONAL CHECK
If you choose to pay via cashiers check or personal check, please email us at mailto:petjewelry@anyoldtime.biz and include
your name, addresses, telephone, email address, and list the items you wish to
order. A confirmation of your order will be emailed back to you including the
shipping and handling and applicable tax. If payment is sent by cashiers check, your
order will be shipped upon receipt of payment. If a personal check is sent, there
will be a ten day delay.
THAT'S IT
When you use the on-line shopping cart, we receive the copy of your order via e-mail that
informs us of what you ordered and how much you paid. If you have paid via PayPal,
we will begin filling your order immediately. If you are sending payment by mail,
we will begin filling your order as soon as we receive your cashiers check. There
will be a ten day delay if a personal check is sent. All orders are shipped via USPS
First Class.
